Demand Letter Under Iowa Lemon Law

If you want to pursue a claim under Iowa's Lemon Law, you must notify the manufacturer of the problem with your vehicle after the third repair attempt (or the first repair attempt for a serious defect) or the vehicle has been out of service for a cumulative total of 20 days. You must send the notice via certified mail, with a return receipt requested, or via overnight or express mail.
