Getting Lemon Justice — Relief Under Alaska Lemon Law

Alaska Lemon Law provides several options for a successful Lemon Law claimant. First, you may be awarded a replacement vehicle of the same year, make, and model. You may also qualify for a monetary award, which can include:

• The full contract price
• The cost of shipping the vehicle to a repair facility

The amount of the monetary reward may be reduced by an amount that doesn't exceed the depreciation in value of the vehicle during the time you have used it (using a straight line depreciation method over seven years), plus an amount equal to the depreciation in value caused by neglect, abuse, or body damage that isn't caused by the nonconformity.
